Horta de Sant Joan is a beautiful medieval village in Catalonia’s Terra Alta region, near the border with Aragón. Perched on a hill at the foot of Els Ports Natural Park, it offers stunning mountain views, a rich history, and a deep connection to art—most notably through Pablo Picasso, who spent time here and called it a place where he learned everything.
