Why We Walk

With friends around us—some for decades, others for just a few meaningful years—we’ve walked to many places. Each step taken together carries a memory, a story, a shared silence, or a burst of laughter. What began simply as outings has slowly become a rhythm in our lives. Every year, we keep something on the calendar—something that gets us outside, together.

We've hiked and explored the trails of Montserrat, Parc Natural of Montseny, got wandered through the surrounding mountains of Montsant and Penedes and ended up wine tasting at Scala Dei. Another excursion in Sant Sadurni known for cava and indeed, we had a great time touring the biodynamic farming vineyard of Recaredo — and ended up in the cellar where we tasted excellent cava wine. Then, watching the light stretch across the land remains one of the most unforgettable experiences we've shared.

The Importance of Excursions as We Grow Older

As the years pass, something changes in the way we experience the world. It becomes less about how far we go, and more about how present we are—about who we’re with and how deeply we feel.

Excursions offer more than movement; they give us a reason to gather. They keep the body active, yes, but more than that, they nourish the spirit. When we walk with others, we create space for slow conversation, for rediscovery of the natural world, and for moments of surprise and joy that no screen can replicate.

Walking reminds us that we're still capable—not just of reaching a destination, but of connecting, wondering, and laughing like we used to. It helps us stay grounded, curious, and alive. And shared excursions? They remind us that we’re not walking alone.

Every outing, however small, becomes a gentle act of resilience. A walk through a vineyard, a hilltop trail with a view, a shared picnic in the shade—these are the little anchors that hold us steady and keep us moving forward.

Walk with Presence

An Invitation to the Presence

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
